Katie Morton is the Wine Director of Marta, Union Square Hospitality Group’s Roman-inspired pizzeria located in The Redbury New York. She joins the Marta team after spending two years as the Assistant Wine Director of Marta’s sister restaurant, Maialino. During her time spent at Maialino she worked with the Wine Director to take the wine list from 500 selections to over a 1,000. Prior to her time spent at Maialino, Katie worked as a sommelier at the three Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park and was on the opening team of The NoMad. She became inspired to work for the Union Square Hospitality Group while pursuing her bachelor’s degree at The Culinary Institute of America.
