After living and working in the Charleston, S.C. area for five years, Jennifer Ferrebee and her husband, Sam, recognized a need for a healthy quick-service eatery in the burgeoning foodie capital of the South. After two years of market research and menu planning Sam and Jennifer opened the first Verde location in downtown Charleston at 347 King Street in October of 2011. Two years later in June of 2013, Sam and Jennifer opened a second location in Mount Pleasant and a third in West Ashley in Avondale.

Jennifer and Sam and their black lab, Shadow Ann, are proud to call Charleston home and love serving food, people, and the Charleston community in a way that’s good for all. They can be found chopping, tossing and wrapping daily at both Verde locations.
