We’re thrilled to bring a fabulous group of female powerhouses together for an elegant lunch at the historic William Aiken House. Joining us will be Kerry Diamond, co-founder and editorial director of Cherry Bombe magazine, and legendary author and editor Ruth Reichl. Delight in a coursed lunch of Southern-inspired dishes prepared by some of the brightest southerly chefs; North Carolina’s Ashley Christensen of Poole’s Diner and Death & Taxes, Vivian Howard of Chef & the Farmer and PBS’s “A Chef’s Life,” Charleston’s own FISH Pastry Chef Jessica Grossman, and beloved biscuit virtuoso, Carrie Morey of Callie’s Biscuits. This mid-day meal will be paired with bubbles by Veuve Clicquot and a selection of Moët Hennessey wines. Joining the ladies will be the Apron Lady herself Ellen Bennett of Hedley & Bennett, the ultimate maven apron maker.
Lunch will conclude with a lively conversation, lead by Kerry and Ruth, sharing stories and creating conversations with the lovely chefs, Ellen and guests.
